I thought I'd like to try to use some of the many things I owned already in the experimental development of a game for sale at some future point.

Along the way, I acquired a Daz Originals game indie dev license that was supposed to allow me to use their "Daz Originals" store content in the development and distribution of games. I came at this from the angle of doing art using Daz Studio assets first. Okay, first of all, I expect I'll get some flak for this post, but try to remember I'm here to warn the Unity community about something that I think is a problem for anyone considering using Daz Studio content in a game. I'll let you know what happens when I add more if you want.TLDR, unless you're considering ever doing business with Daz Studio or Morph3D. I am only working with 1 character and no background right now. Of course, the hair adds some frame skipping, but not unusable. Can't believe they charge $5 more for white RAM. Could be that I need to add more RAM, but I'm not going to do so for a while. If I do a bunch of renders, Daz will crash if I leave more than 2 or 3 open and unsaved or not closed. It runs the simulation, but I can't tell so far. Filament works best for me, but it's hard to see when your character's skin is blinding white lol! The Drawstyle options in the Active View port are taxing on the Wireframe settings, or at least for me. A few things though.Īnytime you add or remove or undo or redo anything, the window will go from maximized to uh, not minimized, but like 1/4 sized, like when you open firefox and it doesn't fill your screen all the way. I don't remember, but I think I installed Daz3d via Daz Centeral on linux through Wine. Use the program installed on 10, and use wine with the wine helper programs installed. If you have the following, you can try and see what happens. So, I'm using Fedora 36 with the Mate desktop with an Nvidia 2060 12GB, 16GB RAM, AMD 3700x (I'm not sure lol.
