ONE PIECE ODYSSEY will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (via Steam) on 13th January 2023. The core gameplay is perfectly serviceable, but it never really reaches the realm of 'great,' and it takes a bit too long to get going. Its clearly crafted with a lot of love, and theres a ton of great banter and interaction between the cast members. They find themselves washed up on a lush tropical island surrounded by constantly raging storms… Separated from his crew, Luffy sets off on a grand, new adventure to find his friends and escape the island! Dangerous new enemies, terrifying forces of nature, and more await them! One Piece Odyssey is a nice RPG for fans of the franchise. But during their voyage they are caught in a storm and shipwrecked. The famed pirate, Monkey.D.Luffy, better known as Straw Hat Luffy, and his Straw Hat Crew, are sailing across the New World in search of the next island and the next adventure that awaits them. This playable demo will allow players to play the first part of the game with save data being transferable to the full version of the game (on the same platform) once released on 13th January 2023.
A playable demo of the upcoming ONE PIECE RPG, known as ONE PIECE ODYSSEY, is now available to download for free on the PlayStation Store (for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5),and Microsoft Store (for Xbox Series X|S). One Piece Odyssey, the role-playing game on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, excels in its turn-based combat, but poor exploration mechanics and a one-size-fits-all approach weigh it down.
